Good morning.

I know last week was tough for a lot of parents. Indoor time in the middle of July is not something we planned for. Camps were moved inside, our trip to the zoo was cancelled. I tried to remind my disappointed kids that these are small problems. Hundreds of people have lost their homes, their businesses. Hopefully this week's rain and cooler weather has brought some relief.

Ok, on to this week. We are approaching peak summer event season! So much happening. Enjoy. It's later than you think 👀.

p.s. My family is doing Dino Run this Saturday in Richmond Hill (yes, even my 1-year-old gets a pinny). The founder is a Toronto-based mom and has offered Mayhem readers 10% off any Dino Run registration — excluding The Bentway. 🦕 Register at dinorun.ca

Growing up involves letting your kiddos navigate their taste buds and adapt to changing palates. As parents, this might mean encountering tricky mealtimes and paying extra attention to ensure they’re getting all the nutrients they need. Fibre is one of those key nutrients that helps stimulate the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. It's typically found in fruits, vegetables, beans and whole grains — but we all know how hard it can be to get kids to finish their vegetables at the dinner table.

Orange Naturals’ KIDS Organic Fibre provides 5g of organic fibre per scoop. This tasteless powder is easy to incorporate into juices, smoothies or sprinkle on top of food! Find us at Metro, Loblaws, Rexall, Nature's Emporium and Well.ca. Use code MAYHEM to save 15% off all products. Excludes on-sale items. Expires September 30th, 2026.
